Yes, if we build or rebuild your website, a maintenance plan is required to ensure your website stays secure, optimized, and running smoothly.
Without a plan, several things can go wrong:
- Your site’s performance may suffer, leading to slower load times and reduced SEO rankings.
- Tools, plugins, and themes won’t stay updated, which is one of the main reasons websites get hacked.
- You won’t have automatic backups or restore points, making recovery difficult if an issue arises.
- You’ll miss out on monthly reports that offer insights into your traffic and page views.
- Most importantly, you won’t have our dedicated support for quick updates, tweaks, or fixes; you’d have to rely on your hosting provider.
What If I Already Have My Own Hosting?
No problem! We’ll help transfer your hosting seamlessly.
While you can stick with your current provider, keep in mind that troubleshooting issues could take longer. With our trusted hosting partner, we can resolve any problems swiftly and efficiently.
Do You Charge Setup Fees?
If we’re building your website, there’s no setup fee.
However, if we’re onboarding an existing site we didn’t design, there’s a $350 setup fee. This covers the necessary work to update your site, familiarize ourselves with its tools, and prepare it for ongoing maintenance.
Do You Take on Websites You Didn’t Build?
Yes! We’ll gladly maintain websites we didn’t build, as long as they use tools we’re familiar with or can easily learn. The hosting must also meet our requirements to ensure smooth performance and security.
Does Monthly Time Roll Over?
No, the monthly time included in your plan doesn’t roll over. Each month offers a fresh opportunity to make updates and improvements to your site.
What If I Require More Time Than the Monthly Support Allows?
We’ll do our best to fit your updates within the allotted time. If your updates exceed the monthly support time, we’ll provide an estimate and offer additional time at a reduced hourly rate as part of your care plan.
What Happens If My Site Gets Hacked While on the Plan?
If your site is compromised while on the maintenance plan, don’t worry; we’ve got you covered. We’ll clean the site, resolve the issue, and get it back on track with Google at no extra cost. The good news? We’ve had ZERO breaches for sites on our maintenance plans to date.
What’s Included in the Monthly Time?
Your monthly time covers updates or additions to your existing website, such as changing business hours, updating team members, adding new services, or refreshing content.
If more time is needed, you’ll receive a discounted hourly rate for additional work. However, the time is limited to your current site’s updates. It can’t be applied to new projects or a full redesign.
Do You Offer Discounts for Multiple Sites?
Absolutely! If you host and maintain additional sites with us, you’ll receive a 20% discount on each one, as long as they remain under your account.
